PHILADELPHIA, June 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HHM, also known as Hersha Hospitality Management, recently announced a rebranding initiative to update the company's identity. The transformation includes a new logo, a completely redesigned website and the launch of a full service division resulting from the addition of several new luxury, upscale and upper-upscale hotels.

"The decision to launch an updated brand identity was a natural step, which helps more accurately portray our increasingly diverse client base, geographic reach and portfolio," said Naveen P. Kakarla, president and CEO of HHM. "For example, many of our potential clients do not realize that one in three of our managed hotels are owned by investors other than our founders, or that we now operate 14 independent hotels and have eight properties throughout Florida and the West Coast."
The logo features an ocean blue block with the company initials in white. It replaces the stylized "H" formerly used to represent HHM and currently the logo for Hersha Hospitality Trust. The new website at hershahotels.com is designed to target potential clients, employees and group sales coordinators looking to learn more about HHM.
These brand changes coincide with the creation of HHM's full service division, currently made up of 18 hotels.
"We are aligned to ensure delivery of the focus and expertise required to continue our tradition of industry leading market share and margins across our diverse full service portfolio," said Michael Murray, COO of HHM. "This collection ranges from Hyatt 48 Lex, the first franchised full service Hyatt in Midtown Manhattan, to the AAA Five Diamond Rittenhouse Hotel and acclaimed Lacroix restaurant, to our asset management of the W New York – Downtown."
