HHA Services Celebrates Outstanding Customer Service and Employee Commitment at Annual Banquet
ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich., April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- HHA Services – a leading provider of healthcare food and facility management services – honored key associates for their 2010 performance at its annual awards banquet last night at the Lochmoor County Club in Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.
The HHA awards banquet, held each year since 1990, recognizes and celebrates consistency in excellent customer service. Honorees are nominated by their co-workers or department heads based upon their outstanding performance.

Award recipients honored last night include:
- Customer Service Award – Jenny Harmer, marketing and office production assistant, HHA Services corporate office in St. Clair Shores, Mich.;
- Rookie of the Year Award – Phil Parker, environmental services director, Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville and Duluth, Ga.;
- The Daniel W. Bowen Jr. Operational Excellence Award – Food and Nutrition Division: Dave Walker, food service manager, Mercy West Lakes in West Des Moines, Iowa; Facility Management Division: Dale Jackson, director, environmental services, Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. and Mark Newton, director, environmental services, Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center in Richmond, Ky.; and
- The Chairman Award – Scott Wise, regional director operations, HHA Services corporate office in St. Clair Shores.
HHA employees achieving service milestones were also recognized. Gary Pollack, HHA's vice president of operations and Paul Fayad, HHA's chief executive officer, were both honored for 30 years of service, while Marc Goodwin, HHA's vice president of human resources, was recognized for 35 years.
