November 6-7 event will highlight ways that Brasilian companies benefit from RFID technology

The event will take place on Nov. 6-7, 2013, at Espaco APAS-Centro de Convencoes, in Sao Paulo, Brasil.

And Francisco Pereira, representing Veiling Holambra's logistics efforts, will share how his firm is using RFID to identify and track returnable assets, enabling it to achieve high levels of technological innovation.
Abdon Augusto Machado Ligeri, Deca's coordinator for Duratex, will share how the ceramic and metal-fitting company has implemented RFID to monitor the movements of products between its manufacturing units and processes, as well as how it has integrated the technology into its inventory-management procedure, using a SAP warehouse-management system. Sergio Galvao, a consultant at TEVEC Metodologias e Sistemas Ltda., will discuss how the company is using RFID technology, coupled with thermodynamic models and data-analytics tools, to enhance traceability and reliability in the supply chain.
