Herzing University Announces Major Investment in Twin Cities
Cushman & Wakefield Represents School in Relocation from Crystal
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Herzing University is making another long-term investment in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market with a new campus in St. Louis Park that will open in early 2018.
Herzing will relocate its Minneapolis campus to 30,000 square feet (sf) on the top floor of 435 Metropoint, the Class A office tower visible from Highway 169 and Interstate 394 in St. Louis Park. The current campus is in Crystal.
The new campus, which will be open in time for the school's January term, includes upgraded labs featuring state-of-the-industry technology to support Herzing's dental and nursing programs. The larger facility and labs will allow Herzing to have enough room for its growing student population and provide career-focused programs designed to meet local employment demands.
"Enrollment at our current campus is up 17 percent year-over-year, and we don't see any signs of slowing down," said Jason Morgan, Minneapolis Campus President at Herzing University. "With this new campus, we are revamping the Herzing experience with a significantly larger and more convenient facility that has additional amenities and a better overall experience for students."
At Metropoint, Herzing students and faculty can enjoy an on-site coffee shop and cafeteria, covered parking and easy access from anywhere in the Twin Cities.
During an 18-month process, Cushman & Wakefield brokers Dan Buettner and Brian Woolsey represented Herzing, an accredited private nonprofit institution, in its move.
