MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Herzing University today announced the winners of its #GivingTuesday scholarship campaign. The scholarship was created to encourage students, prospective students and alumni to complete an act of kindness – large or small – and include it in their online scholarship application.
More than 900 individuals across the country participated, and Herzing randomly selected one winner from each market where it has a campus and one recipient from a national pool representing its Online Division.
In total, 10 scholarships of $2,000 each are being awarded to current or prospective students for various acts of kindness. Examples include providing a home to children who might otherwise be in foster care; driving an injured classmate to school; and paying for groceries, prescriptions and other items for homeless and underserved individuals.
