Hershey Trust Company Elects Three New Directors And Managers
Chief Investment Officer Also Appointed
HERSHEY, Pa., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hershey Trust Company announced today it has expanded its Board and the Board of Managers of Milton Hershey School with the recent election of three new Directors/Managers: Cordel Robbin-Coker, Amy Marsh and Dan Katzir. The addition of these three exceptional individuals will take effect on January 1, 2019 and raise the total number of Directors/Managers at the Trust Company and the School to 12.

Following is a brief overview of the newly elected Directors/Managers:
- Cordel Robbin-Coker is an alumnus of Milton Hershey School, where he graduated valedictorian in 2004. He is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ADG Technology, a mobile entertainment platform for Africa. Previously he served as Vice President at The Carlyle Group, where he executed investments across a range of industries in the U.S., Europe, and Africa. Cordel also worked with Morgan Stanley where he advised on M&A and capital markets transactions while based in New York and London. He is an active angel investor with several investments primarily in Africa-based tech companies.
- Amy Marsh recently retired as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Treasurer at the University of Pittsburgh. There, she served as the managing director of the Office of Finance, where she was responsible for managing the assets and liabilities of the University and its endowment. In addition to her newly elected role, Ms. Marsh serves on the boards of several Pennsylvania-based organizations, including the Sewickley Academy, a private day school where she is a Trustee Emeritus and serves on the Endowment, Finance and Audit Committees.
- Dan Katzir is the President and CEO of Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, a nonprofit public charter school network that serves 13,000 students and 12,000 alumni across 28 public charter schools in Los Angeles, California. Previously, Mr. Katzir was the founding Managing Director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, Regional Director of Sylvan Learning Systems, Executive Director for UCLA's School Management Program and Chief Operating Officer for Teach for America.

Today, the Board is represented by individuals from multiple ethnic backgrounds, ranges in age from those in their 30s to their 60s, and is 50 percent women.
Additionally, Hershey Trust Company announced that effective January 1, 2019, Jan Bratton, formerly the Trust Company's Interim CIO and Vice President of Public Markets, will be appointed CIO of the organization. Ms. Bratton has served the Trust with distinction for nearly 30 years, the majority of which in senior investment roles. She is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, the Harvard Business School's Executive Education Program and the Pennsylvania Banker's Association Central Atlantic School of Trust. "Jan has been instrumental in guiding and overseeing investment activities, and we are honored to officially appoint her CIO," added Mr. Heist.
Hershey Trust Company also announced the re-election of Robert Heist as Chairman of the Board of the Trust Company and Board of Managers of Milton Hershey School. Jan Bergen was re-elected Vice Chairperson of both organizations as well.
