Herren Associates Awarded $4.5 Million Contract for U.S. Army Medical Command Process Optimization Services

WASHINGTON, Dec. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Herren Associates, Inc. ("Herren"), a leading engineering and management consulting firm, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) to provide Integrated Disability Evaluation System optimization services. Under this contract, Herren will provide services at the Army Office of the Surgeon General and MEDCOM enterprise-level while delivering on-site analysis to improve performance at high volume Medical Treatment Facilities throughout the country. The contract has a value of $4.5 million over three years, if all options are exercised.

The Integrated Disability Evaluation System is a joint process established by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense that includes a single set of disability medical examinations and disability ratings for use by both departments.
