Herley New England is Awarded a $2.5 Million Contract for Integrated Microwave Assemblies
LANCASTER, Pa., May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced today that its Herley New England division in Woburn, Massachusetts has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $2.5 million to supply multi-function integrated microwave assemblies (IMAs) to a major U. S. Prime contractor.
The IMAs will be used in the electronic support measures system of the initial production order of P-8 maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft for an international customer. The P-8A "Poseidon" is being developed for the U. S. Navy, and will be a long-term production program for the U. S. and international militaries.
