Heritage Bank Appoints Lisa Banner as Executive Vice President, Director of Shared Services

OLYMPIA, Wash., Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heritage Bank, subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corporation ("Company" or "Heritage") (Nasdaq: HFWA), is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Banner as Executive Vice President and Director of Shared Services. Ms. Banner will be replacing Edward Eng, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, who is leaving to pursue personal interests effective September 30, 2015. Ms. Banner will report to President and Chief Operating Officer, Jeffrey J. Deuel, and her range of responsibilities will include deposit and loan operations, facilities management, and information systems and technology.

Prior to joining Heritage Bank, Ms. Banner held a variety of senior management positions at a Utah-based regional banking organization. Most recently she served as the Senior Vice President, Division Manager for Deposit and Treasury Operations. Ms. Banner holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Portland State University, a Masters of Business Administration from Westminster College and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
