Herb Kelsey Joins Opera Solutions as Vice President, Analytics

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera Solutions, LLC, a global firm that applies advanced analytics to solve the Big Data challenges of many of the world's leading organizations, today announced the addition of Herb Kelsey to its analytics leadership group as Vice President, Analytics. Mr. Kelsey is a widely recognized expert on cyber security, and has advised executive and legislative branches of the U.S. Government on cyber security strategy and policy.  

Mr. Kelsey will pilot Opera's initiatives for new product development in cyber security and intelligence analysis. Most recently, Mr. Kelsey served as Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Cyber Security at IBM.  Prior to this position, he was a Senior Solutions Architect in IBM's Office of Strategic Transformations. Additionally, at IBM, Kelsey served as Chief Architect on several classified intelligence programs and also managed Business Development for the Chief Technology Officer of IBM Federal.  Prior to IBM, he held senior positions at CA Technologies and ObjectWare, where he was Lead Technologist for 5 years.
