Henry Repeating Arms Introduces The EMS Tribute Edition Rifle
BAYONNE, N.J., Nov. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Repeating Arms is pleased to introduce the newest rifle in its collection, The Henry Golden Boy EMS Tribute Edition Rifle. It recognizes the EMS heroes who provide essential life support and care to anyone in need with their indispensable commitment to community service.
Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Repeating Arms explains, "Countless Americans give of themselves by answering our desperate call for help when we dial 911 and we depend on them to come quickly and help during the most scary and critical times in our lives. Whether saving a life with medical care, transporting us safely to a medical facility or holding our hand for reassurance, EMS workers walk in as strangers and walk out as angels."
The rifle is crafted with the highest attention to detail. The American Walnut stock is laser etched and hand painted with various iconic images including a Medevac helicopter hovering above the rhythmic horizon, an EMS ambulance facilitating patient care and transportation, and a paramedic with an EMS technician attending to a patient's needs. The wood forearm features the universally recognized EMS blue Star of Life emblem with the Rod of Asclepius. The guiding principal SO OTHERS MAY LIVE is highlighted in text and underscored by a sinus rhythm.
The right side of the receiver cover features a 24K gold plated Emergency Medical Services badge. This flanks a banner reading PRIMUM NON NOCERE, the Latin phrase first learned at EMS training meaning First, do no harm.
The left side of the receiver highlights a 24K gold plated Star of Life and banner that reads EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. The front left panel shows a stethoscope and trauma shears, both critical EMS tools.
Images, text and scrolls are bracketed in American scrollwork that's been hand-cut by master engraver Heidi Roos and mechanically transferred to retain the bright cuts of the original.
Like all rifles in Henry's award-winning Golden Boy family it features a fully adjustable rear site, beaded front site, blued octagonal barrel, brasslite receiver, brass buttplate and metal barrel band; and the smooth action Henrys are known for. It's drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting. Offered in caliber .22 S/L/LR, capacity is 16 rounds of 22 Long Rifle and as much as 21 rounds of 22 Short.
Model H004EMS is available through licensed Henry dealers. MSRP $1200.00. For more information and product images visit http://www.henryrifles.com/rifles/ems-tribute-edition/ or call 201-858-4400.
