Henry Repeating Arms Donations Expected to Raise $100,000+ to Benefit the NRA
BAYONNE, N.J., May 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Repeating Arms' donation of serial number 1 of the new Original Henry Iron Frame to the National Rifle Association concluded with a winning bid of $29,325 with proceeds to benefit the NRA Foundation. This special rifle was auctioned at gunbroker.com, the winner was announced at the NRA Annual Meeting in Nashville in April. Henry was a sponsor of the event.
The winning bid at live auction for Henry's donation of a one-of-a kind Big Boy 3-Gun Set was $7,800. The set included a Henry Big Boy Classic, Big Boy Carbine & Big Boy Mares Leg that were hand-engraved with NRA & Tennessee images with custom serial numbers 001NRAILA2015 to 003NRAILA2015. Proceeds will benefit the NRA ILA Foundation (Institute for Legislative Action).
Henry also donated 25 rifles valued at $13,000 that were raffled at the Wall of Guns and other events throughout the show. Proceeds will benefit several NRA organizations.
