Henkel Automotive manufacturing facility receives General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award
Award demonstrates the highest level of quality achievement throughout 2012
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Henkel Automotive's manufacturing facility in Richmond, MO received the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award for its outstanding quality achievement throughout 2012.

During a recent ceremony at the facility, GM presented the esteemed award to Henkel employees.
The award showcases top performance in a number of areas, including product quality, on-time delivery and cross-functional support. Recipients are chosen based on a set of 13 metrics reflective of overall quality performance.
"Product quality is the foundation for a positive customer experience," said Brad Holder, site manager, Henkel Richmond facility. "Henkel is honored to be recognized for its contributions in creating quality-made vehicles."
Henkel's Richmond facility produces a variety of products for General Motors, including structural inserts that improve crash safety by increasing car body stiffness as well as technology that prevents road noise from reaching passenger's ears.
GM is recognizing approximately 7 percent of product suppliers with the award this year.
