Hendrick Construction Completes Continental Expansion

INDIAN LAND, S.C., Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hendrick Construction, Inc. completed a 16,500-square-foot expansion of Continental Tire's North American headquarters facility.

The project was an addition to the 75,000-square-foot office project that Hendrick completed for Continental in 2009. The new space will be used for administrative personnel, and it will support a new tire manufacturing plant under construction in Sumter, S.C.

Hendrick Construction worked with Charlotte-based Forsite Development to build the addition and the original facility.

The Continental headquarters on MacMillan Park Drive features individual offices, clusters of work stations and several conference rooms. It also serves as a call center.
