HempStaff, Leading Cannabis Recruiting Agency, Announces Medical Cannabis Dispensary Training Courses in Little Rock, Arkansas
KEY LARGO, Fla., March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- HempStaff, a leader in recruiting for employees in the cannabis and hemp industries for nearly five years that has trained over 6,700 students in 20 states, announces medical marijuana dispensary training courses will be held in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 4100 Glover Lane, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
The fast-paced courses are four hours and are offered at 8:00 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. CST. Ticket prices are $249 online or $300 at the door. The medical cannabis dispensary training course is designed to educate those who are interested in entering the medical marijuana industry in Arkansas by teaching attendees about the medication, state laws, interviewing tips and a deeper understanding of the industry. In Arkansas, there are 7,437 approved medical marijuana cards according to the Arkansas Department of Health as of Feb. 21, 2019.
"On February 15, medical cannabis cards for Arkansas patients were activated, but the 32 dispensaries will have to wait until April, at the soonest, to start selling," said HempStaff CEO James Yagielo. "This emerging industry in the state of Arkansas means more jobs will be available and HempStaff can help ensure applicants are knowledgeable and trained for this new industry. We see this period as an opportunity to educate the people of Arkansas on what it takes to be a successful cannabis industry employee."
During the course, students will learn how medical cannabis helps patients, the power of different cannabinoids and terpenes, symptoms medical cannabis can minimize or alleviate, all medical cannabis products that may be available, how to direct a patient to use them and how to recommend the appropriate dosage. Additionally, students will learn how to manage Point of Sale systems, inventory systems and security in the cannabis industry. HempStaff also orchestrates a summary exam at the end of each class which would allow those who pass to obtain a HempStaff Certification, which students can add to their resume.
"The goal of this class is to help students understand the cannabis dispensaries and cannabis as a medication," added Yagielo. "We also help boost their resume with our certification and give them the knowledge they need to speak intelligently when they eventually land that interview for an opening at a dispensary in the near future."
HempStaff understands that the industry's laws are constantly changing, especially in the early months of a program. To help students navigate through new programs, HempStaff offers attendees the opportunity to return to any future training session, free of charge, to re-educate themselves. This helps ensure all HempStaff trainees are up-to-date on laws for their state. The complimentary return also applies to classes in other states.
