Helen Lozada is recognized by Continental Who's Who
BRISTOL, Conn., July 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Helen Lozada is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Higher Education. Helen is the Acting Associate Director at Tunxis Community College.
Established in 1969, Tunxis Community College offers an array of academic, career associate and transfer degree programs as well as various certificate programs providing students with a quality and attainable higher education opportunity.
A member of the Connecticut Association of Professional Financial Aid Administrators and National Association of Professional Women, (NAPW) Helen's areas of concentration include event planning, financial aid services, leadership, student affairs and more.
In addition to various on-campus committees and member-at-large of the Professional Staff Organization, governing body of Tunxis Community College, she is co-advisor for the Tunxis Chapter of the International Honor Society of the two-Year college, Phi Theta Kappa, and President of the Tunxis Alumni Association.
Recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year by NAPW, she enjoys reading and wine tasting in her spare time. Helen is also active in donating her charity to organizations such as the American Red Cross, Read to Grow and the Tunxis Foundation.
Graduating from Charter Oak State College with her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Child Studies, Helen recently earned her Master's degree in Higher Education Administration at Bay Path University.
