Heilind Stocking TE Connectivity Switches

WILMINGTON, Mass., July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics, the largest interconnect distributor in North America, is now stocking TE Connectivity's Gemini A, Gemini AE, AW, and F series switches.

TE's Gemini series is a full family of standard miniature A series and IP67-rated AE series toggle, rocker and paddle switches. Gemini series switches are available in single and double pole configurations and come in a variety of actuator sizes, styles and colors, with epoxy sealed terminals and stainless steel frames with solder lug, PC, wire wrap, vertical, bracketed and angle-mount PC termination options. Other options include environmental seals, vertical and right angle threaded or unthreaded bushings and locking actuators. Gemini series switches are ideal for audio, business equipment, data communications, industrial machines and instrumentation applications.

TE's AW and F series switches are designed from more rugged, more demanding applications, with rated current handling capabilities up to 20 amps and an electrical life of 50,000 cycles at full load. These panel mount switches can switch up to four poles, have .250 quick connect terminals and are ideal for designs that require human interface in harsh environments. Applications include industrial and construction equipment, transportation vehicles, outdoor concert and lighting equipment and portable power tools.
