Heilind Offers TE Connectivity's MEZALOK Connector

WILMINGTON, Mass., Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics, the largest interconnect distributor in North America, is now stocking TE Connectivity's MEZALOK connector.

TE's MEZALOK connector is a rugged surface mount mezzanine connector incorporating "super-redundant" mini-box contact system for separable interface. The MEZALOK connector is available in 60 and 114 positions, and the Mini-Box contact system provides four points of contact for reliability. The 114 position is designed to support VITA 61 XMC architecture as a rugged alternative to VITA 42 XMC and the 60 position is designed for custom architecture stacking applications.
