Heilind Now Stocking Model GII Terminating Machine from TE Connectivity
WILMINGTON, Mass., Feb. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics, the largest distributor of interconnect products in North America, is now stocking the AMP-O-LECTRIC Model GII Terminating Machine from TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity. This product is the latest in the series of AMP-O-LECTRIC machines for terminating wire using reeled terminals and contacts.
The Model GII features a reliable and long-lasting brushless motor drive – one of the quietest machines available. In addition, improved guarding meets applicable European and domestic safety requirements. The Model GII's Crimp Quality Monitor (CQM II) is located at eye level for bench-top use.
All Model GII versions include precision adjustment for crimp height, which, in combination with the optional CQM II, will enable users to maintain the tight tolerances required for today's demands for higher levels of quality. By resetting a dial, an operator can adjust crimp height in 0.013 mm (.0005") increments over a 0.457 mm (.018") range.
The controls also detect and report errors in the machine and stop cycling when a bad crimp is detected by the CQM II. The operator must then push the reset button to continue. The Model GII accepts all existing TE miniature applicators.
