WILMINGTON, Mass., Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics, a leading distributor of electronic components, is now stocking CFP2 and CFP4 Surface-Mount Receptacle Connectors by Amphenol Connectors.

Amphenol's commercial high-speed connectors offer high port density, configurability and utilization for next generation and future generation systems. They provide remarkable mechanical durability and resonance dampening features for superior performance.

The CFP2 and CFP4 interconnect systems comprise insert molding assemblies for the top-side contacts and press-fit cage assemblies.

The CFP2 and CFP4 Surface-Mount Receptacle Connectors have a 0.6 mm pitch with the CFP2 having 104 positions and the CFP4 having 56 positions. They are rated for 28 Gbps per channel and have a plug connector on the mating interface that improves accuracy and aids in achieving high-speed performance.
