WILMINGTON, Mass., Oct. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics has expanded its franchise with Orion Fans after its acquisition of Columbus, OH based Thompson Electronic Supplies. Heilind, the largest interconnect distributor in North America, acquired Thompson in May.

Headquartered in Dallas, TX, Orion Fans offers innovative thermal management solutions designed for specific market requirements. Orion Fans’ product portfolio offers the broadest range of AC-DC fans and accessories including the most comprehensive fan tray offering in the industry. Their inventory includes sealed-sleeve high volume production models, Spot Cooler/Spot DIN Cooler Fan series, standard and custom fan trays and AC and DC blowers. Orion Fans also provides a line of accessories including fan guards, power cords and filters.
