Heffernan Welcomes Joshua Rappaport as Assistant Vice President of Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, has hired Joshua Rappaport to join its Los Angeles, California office.  As Assistant Vice President, Rappaport will be responsible for producing new business in Southern California.

Rappaport joins Heffernan after years of experience in the practices of niche market commercial insurance, where he is well versed in analyzing and auditing contracts and providing recommendations to minimize risk.  Before coming to Heffernan, Rappaport worked closely with several trade association groups such as lumber, machining, auto wholesalers and plumbing, heating & cooling in order to tailor coverage to those industries. Rappaport graduated in 2001 from Arizona State University with Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
