Heffernan NY Branch Hires John Bayeux, Senior VP, Financial Services Practice Leader

NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, based in Walnut Creek, California and one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, has hired John Bayeux to join its Manhattan office as Senior Vice President, Financial Services Practice Leader.

Bayeux brings over 30 years of experience to Heffernan.  His past responsibilities for national insurance firms included a series of leadership positions in brokerage and risk management, where he specialized in delivering  products and services geared to the risk management needs of financial institutions.   At Heffernan, Bayeux will assume a leadership role in the firm's D&O and management liability practice, as well as expand the company's reach into financial institutions, renewable energy, real estate, law and technology.

Bayeux is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where he also earned his MBA. He has an Associate in Risk Management and has received multiple industry awards for his dedication to client service.
