Heffernan Insurance Brokers to Participate in Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Annual 'Light the Night' Walk at AT&T Park

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, is sending a team to participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's annual 'Light the Night' walk which will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at AT&T Park in San Francisco.  The event starts at 5 p.m. with food, music, and family-friendly festivities followed by the walk, which begins at 7 p.m.  The easy-paced 2-mile route will take walkers onto the field of AT&T Park. 

There is no registration fee or minimum fundraising requirement for walkers, however, walkers who raise $100+ before the event are each named a 'Champion for Cures,' and on walk night will receive a t-shirt, dinner and an illuminated lantern (red for supporters, white for survivors, and gold for those walking in memory of a loved one).  Individuals who raise $1000+ prior to the walk will be invited to a VIP champagne reception in the Giants' dugout on the night of the event, hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
