Heffernan Insurance Brokers Brings Together Like-Minded Professional Business Women in Inaugural Women of Influence Summit

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, recently held its inaugural Women of Influence summit. Born out of the search for a group that catered uniquely to women, the organizers are executives, Leticia Trevino, Elizabeth Bishop, and Jennifer Mahoney, who demonstrate professional merit and leadership in their careers. The gathering was held Friday, June 6^th, 2014 at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon, Calif.

Attendees engaged in viewing video clips, personal stories and discussions during the course of the morning focusing on increasing confidence and competence to promote a positive and effective self-brand, expanding networks to include other influential female and male peers and leaders that can support and advise, and realistic career planning aligned with life goals.
