Heffernan Foundation Hosts Inaugural Golf Tournament Oct. 19, 2012

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Aug. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Heffernan Foundation, part of the Charitable Giving Program of Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, is hosting its first charitable golf tournament on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Callippe Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Heffernan Foundation, which provides funding for nonprofits providing direct support services to local communities in the areas of shelter, food, education and the preservation of the environment.
