Heffernan Foundation Hosts First Annual Golf Tournament Oct. 19, 2012
WALNUT CREEK, Calif., June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Heffernan Foundation, part of the Charitable Giving Program of Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, is pleased to announce it is hosting its first annual charitable Golf Tournament on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Callippe Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Heffernan Foundation, which provides funding for nonprofits providing direct support services to local communities in the areas of shelter, food, education and the preservation of the environment.
Shot Gun start begins at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $150 per player or $550 for a team of four, which includes green fees, cart fees, range balls and dinner.
