Heath Plan of Michigan Honors 25 Top Healthcare Providers
DETROIT, Aug. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Plan of Michigan (HPM) has recognized twenty-five Michigan healthcare providers for their outstanding quality and service.
The healthcare providers were identified as the top primary care offices through a rigorous selection process based on Health Plan of Michigan's 2010 Quality Incentive Plan. "We wanted to recognize our top performing healthcare providers for their commitment to quality and service," said Sean Kendall, Director of Network Development for Health Plan of Michigan. "We truly value the access to quality services they provide to our Medicaid Members."
The Health Plan of Michigan Quality Incentive Program paid over $10 million in quality bonuses to its contracted healthcare providers in 2010, and is on pace to spend over $12 million in 2011. Health Plan of Michigan hopes more providers will meet the performance criteria next year and will continue assisting all provider offices in increasing their quality scores.
