Heartland Bank's Downtown Columbus Branch Opens This Week

GAHANNA, Ohio, Jan. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- G. Scott McComb, Chairman, President and CEO of Heartland Bank is pleased to announce that the recently purchased 101 South High Street building has been restored and the bank's new office is open for business. 

While Heartland has operated a downtown branch since opening their doors in 2006 on East State Street at Capitol Square, the new site gives them a presence in the gateway to the southern portion of downtown Columbus.  "This new location will give us increased visibility and an opportunity to expand our relationships and community involvement in downtown Columbus.  Downtown has now evolved into its own distinct community and deserves their own Community Bank," stated McComb. A  noticeable feature of the new space will be exterior signage that features a 32'x40' video display board that will be used to showcase clients, local events and organizations that the bank has partnered with over the years through philanthropic endeavors. The display board will be installed this spring.

Heartland Bank partnered with Bill Schottenstein on the purchase of the building and signage.  Lion Construction completed the build out and the design.  Greg Schenk of the Schenk Company represented Heartland for site selection and real estate services.
