HealthPlus Named One of Nation's Top Private Insurance Plans

FLINT, Mich., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- For the sixth year in a row, HealthPlus of Michigan's private health plans are recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as being among the nation's best.** NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2010-11 – Private, the list of plan rankings that was released by NCQA last week, names HealthPlus as one of the top 30 private plans nationwide.

NCQA evaluated and ranked more than 200 private health plans based on clinical performance, member satisfaction, and NCQA Accreditation. To be eligible for rankings, health plans must authorize public release of their performance information and submit enough data for statistically valid analysis.
