Healthline.com Ranks as #2 Health Website for First Time
Site ranked #1 in unique visitor growth among top health websites
NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthline Media announced that Healthline.com is now the 2nd largest health information domain in the digital population and is the fastest growing of the Top 5 health information domains on a year over year basis – according to a ranking of top health domains based on comScore's September 2016 report.* This is the first time that Healthline.com, which provides health and wellness information and support each month to more than 50 million people globally, has reached the #2 spot.
This achievement comes on the heels of its first appearance in the #3 spot this August.
With 26,407,000 unique visitors in September, Healthline.com is second behind WebMD.com and it ranks #1 in growth among the top five health domains. Healthline.com's traffic jumped 20 percent from September 2015 to September 2016, up nearly 4.5 million unique visitors, advancing it from #4 to #2.
