HEALTHeCAREERS Network Releases Q3 2014 Healthcare Jobs Snapshot

DENVER, Nov. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Like Westeros after that ominous winter finally arrives, much of the country was blanketed in snow after this month's early winter storms, with more cold weather on the way. Winter is coming, but the healthcare jobs market shows no signs of cooling off, according to HEALTHeCAREERS Network's newly released Q3 2014 Healthcare Jobs Snapshot.

Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that the U.S. added a total of 64,000 new healthcare jobs during the third quarter of this year. Meanwhile, job opportunities on HEALTHeCAREERS Network grew at a clip of 65 percent over the same time period a year ago and 60 percent over last quarter, with healthcare employers posting nearly 75,000 positions on the online job board.
