HEALTHeCAREERS Network Releases Q2 2013 Healthcare Jobs Snapshot

DENVER, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- HEALTHeCAREERS Network (HeCN), the only single-source healthcare recruiting solution for providers and job seekers, today released its Q2 2013 Healthcare Jobs Snapshot. Q2 data revealed an increased demand for mental health workers, including counseling and social services professionals, psychiatrists, psychiatry/mental health RNs, psychologists and psychometrists. Also high in demand, physician/surgeon and nursing positions accounted for 49 percent and 29 percent of jobs posted in Q2. This quarter, more than 3,000 employers posted a total of 43,271 available jobs on HEALTHeCAREERS Network, a 3 percent increase over Q1.
