"I have already begun applying for teaching positions, and hope to begin working as an educator as soon as possible," said Wince, a Florida master's student at Midwestern State University in Texas. Wince is one of 10 scholarship recipients of the ASRT Education and Research Foundation's 2010 Professional Advancement Scholarships.
HEALTHeCAREERS Network helps fund these scholarships that are administered by the charitable arm of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). The association's $15,000 scholarship total is divided into $1,500 awards that are given to undergraduate or graduate students completing a degree in radiologic sciences.
