Health Robotics Canada Quickly Becomes Largest American I.V. Robotics Company with 15 Contracts in First 3 Months
BOZEN, Sud-Tirol, Italy, April 19, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Robotics today announced the outstanding results reported by one of its American partners, Health Robotics Canada Inc. (HRCI) first trimester of operations since its inception in December 2009. These impressive results included new contracts in North America for seven i.v.STATION, six i.v.SOFT, one CytoCare, and one I.V. Room of the Future, quickly eclipsing in its first three months of existence all the other I.V. Automation companies that have been present in the field of North American I.V. Robotics for the past 22 years, including IHS/RIVA[1].

Our joint-venture partner HRCI also reported to Health Robotics contracts for installations of seven Health Robotics' i.v.STATION robots at Allegiance Health (Jackson, Michigan), The Brigham & Women's Hospital (Boston), U Mass Memorial Hospital (Worcester), [these first 3 already installed by HRCI], Centre Hospitalier de l'Universite de Montreal [CHUM], Cottage Health System (Santa Barbara), The University of Colorado Hospital (Denver), and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (Houston).
Additionally, HRCI reported signing 6 contracts for Beta Test/Validation installations of i.v.SOFT Assist, Cube, Label+, and Profile workflow software automation modules at The Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Duke University Hospital in Durham, Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, The University of Chicago Medical Center, and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Finally, several months after terminating its contract with Devon Robotics, the University of Colorado Hospital signed an agreement with HRCI [subsequently assigned to McKesson Automation, Health Robotics' exclusive North American partner for CytoCare] in order to upgrade to a new and improved version of CytoCare in May 2010.
