Health Robotics Announces Record-Breaking 2Q 2011 Results
BOZEN, SUD-TIROL, Italy, August 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
Health Robotics announced that it launched its post-McKesson era with record-breaking American results in 2Q2011, including 4 new robot installs completed, 18 new installations under contract, and 4 new enterprise agreements with Sandoz Canada, Grifols, Americorp Financial, and Donawa Consulting that continued the expense-intensive process to replace McKesson Automation, while substantially expanding the service scope of Health Robotics Canada Inc. (HRCI).
"On the heels of Health Robotics' termination of McKesson's distribution and services contract for cause http://www.health-robotics.com/smartedit/downloads/en/mck.pdf, the company recorded its best-ever American trimester from a customer perspective during its 5th Anniversary. The 18 new installations under contract included 5 CytoCare, 6 i.v.STATION, 6 i.v.SOFT, and 1 i.v.STATION ONCO at Allegiance Health, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Nutricare, and Macrotech Farmaceutica, simultaneously extending to 18 months (and counting) its streak of winning 100% of all worldwide Sterile Compounding Robots' publicly-announced purchases" stated Gaspar DeViedma, Health Robotics' Executive Vice President.
From an organizational perspective, by replacing McKesson's engineers with HRCI's staff, Health Robotics completed 3 i.v.STATION installations at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Miller Children's Hospital, and The University of Chicago Medical Center, plus 1 CytoCare at University of Colorado Hospital. Additionally, Health Robotics significantly upgraded its regulatory compliance in the United States by replacing McKesson Automation Inc. with Donawa Consulting LLC as the company's new registered agent for FDA regulatory matters. Last but not least, Health Robotics also improved its sales and marketing channel strategies by signing strategic agreements with Americorp Financial, Grifols USA, and Sandoz Canada, thus providing American Health-System Pharmacies with flexible acquisition options not previously available under McKesson Automation.
Mr. DeViedma concluded his remarks as follows: "Health Robotics' remaining plans for 2011 include continuing the investments required to completely replace McKesson, most notably the scheduled completion of 22 additional installations under contract (2 CytoCare, 9 i.v.STATION, and 11 i.v.SOFT); attendance at the University Heath System Consortium (UHC) Pharmacy Council and ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting (Chicago and New Orleans, respectively); its initial selection of i.v.STATION ONCO customers in Canada and USA; and the ongoing evaluation of additional business partners in North America."
