SHREVEPORT, La., June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Air Force recently awarded Summit Technical Solutions, LLC (STS) a $13.5 million Time and Materials contract to provide systems engineering support to the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) leg of the nuclear triad. STS brings its dedicated ICBM professionals along with their extensive headquarters experience and weapon system knowledge to support Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) and the 20th Air Force (20th AF). STS' team of technical experts provide a unique understanding of the AFGSC ICBM organize, train, and equip functions in the areas of operations, logistics, maintenance, helicopter operations, security, Nuclear Weapons Accident Incident Exercise (NUXAIX), and system performance assessment.
