DALLAS, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- HDNet announces the premiere of "Drinking Made Easy," a new series hosted by Zane Lamprey, formerly the host of the cult sensation "Three Sheets." "Drinking Made Easy" premieres Wednesday, October 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET on HDNet.

"Drinking Made Easy" follows Lamprey, his drinkin' buddy Steve McKenna and veteran stand-up comedian Marc Ryan as they travel across the country discovering local pubs, watering holes, breweries and distilleries. Drinking customs have contributed to our great nation's birth, growth and distinction, and "Drinking Made Easy" documents the group as they seek out the adult beverages, culture and mixologies that are unique to America's cities. Over 24 episodes, viewers will join Lamprey, his cohorts and 15-person crew as their tour bus logs over 10,000 miles of America to Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle among many others to discover each city's drink made easy.
"After bartenders, there is no one who knows drinking better than comedians. And as the old joke goes, comics work 15 minutes a day; so who has more time than me to discover the drink specialties and customs of every city I visit while embarking on a national comedy tour?" said Lamprey. "Steve, Marc and I are the perfect trio to show America how drinking is made easy."
"I've been a fan of Zane's for a long time and he's a perfect fit for the HDNet audience," said Mark Cuban, president and co-founder of HDNet. "We're looking forward to 'Drinking Made Easy' becoming a Wednesday night staple on HDNet!"
Over the past few years, Lamprey has become a seasoned traveler and accidental expert on alcohol. Having been dubbed "a professional drinker," "the international drinking ambassador" and "the Indiana Jones of drinking," Lamprey has found himself a niche market. So, it was a logical decision for him to capitalize on his success in the alcoholic beverage business by releasing his first book "THREE SHEETS: 6 Continents, 15 Countries, 190 drinks and 1 Mean Hangover," published by Villard Books (a division of Random House). His entrepreneurial spirit has helped him to build an empire around his brand, thanks in large part to a league of dedicated fans. For the past several years he has developed the reputation as a personality that people trust.
Lamprey will serve as Executive Producer of "Drinking Made Easy" via his Inzane Entertainment production company. Additionally, Lamprey, McKenna and Ryan completed a 53-city national comedy tour fittingly called "Drinking Made Easy" while filming the series.
