The prestigious prizes were awarded for two campaigns Hawthorne created for Equifax: a 15-second spot entitled "Grownups," which won a Silver Telly (the highest category honor), and a 30-second ad called "Everywhere You Can't Be," a Bronze winner in the Film/Video Marketing category.
The 30-second spot succinctly described the pervasive threat of identity theft, using computer generated imagery to illustrate the traces left behind when people conduct transactions and emphasized the importance of identity theft protection and credit monitoring services. The Silver award-winning 15-second ad powerfully positioned credit monitoring and identity theft protection as an integral part of adult life and the need to be proactive.
