Scream season returns to Kansas City with several chilling adventures

THE BEAST | through Nov. 3

  • Holding two titles—America's largest haunted house and the creator of the open-format design to allow ghosts, goblins and other scary creatures to lunge out at you at any time—The Beast will make your hair stand on end.  The four-story slide at the end will keep you screaming.

THE EDGE OF HELL | through Nov. 3

BOO AT THE ZOO | Oct. 27-28

  • What goes bump in the night?  Boo at the Zoo of course, where kids trick-or-treat among more than 1,000 wild animals.  This annual event also includes spooky animal shows.

 POWELL GARDENS | Oct.19-20
