Thomas Riegert Joins as Associate, Portfolio Management, With Focus on Risk Management, Research and Due Diligence
RALEIGH, N.C., May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hatteras Funds ("Hatteras"), a boutique alternative investment specialist providing unique alternative investment solutions for financial advisors and their clients, announced that Thomas Riegert, CFA, has joined the firm as Associate, Portfolio Management. In this role, Mr. Riegert will support portfolio and risk management, manager research and due diligence for the Hatteras Alternative Mutual Funds.

Prior to joining Hatteras, Mr. Riegert held the position of Investment Manager and Assistant Vice President in Wealth Management with Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC. Previously he served as Associate Portfolio Manager and Quantitative Research Analyst at Evergreen Investments. Mr. Riegert, who has earned the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Ohio University.
