Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. wins $1,638,786.89 settlement for client Daniel Flitcroft in a lawsuit against Taylor Berry, et al.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. represented Daniel Flitcroft in Daniel Flitcroft v. Taylor Berry, et al.: Case #19CV00804.
According to the complaint, Flitcroft volunteered to cook for guests at a friend's summertime barbeque where he suffered third degree burns in a gas can explosion. Flitcroft sustained the burns to the majority of his body, and had to be airlifted to a specialty burn center for treatment. He was in an intensive care unit for six weeks.
Per the complaint, the suit was filed against the renters of the property where the explosion happened, the person who handed Flitcroft the gas can that caused the explosion, the owner of the gas can, the property management company in charge of maintaining the property and the property owner. The majority of the settlement funds were policy limit offers from the renters. Flitcroft is represented by attorney Anthony Kastenek of Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. in Santa Barbara.
