Harmony School of Innovation-Brownsville to Celebrate School Choice

BROWNSVILLE, Texas, Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Several hundred students, teachers, and parents will gather at Harmony School of Innovation-Brownsville for a National School Choice Week celebration at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

The celebration will feature student dance performances and a pep rally. It will be part of a week-long series of activities in honor of school choice, including a poster decorating contest and bingo competition.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

"We are excited to be a part of this nationwide effort to increase school choice and celebrate parents being able to find the best fit for their children's educational needs," said Georgette Betancourt-Medellin, public relations coordinator at Harmony School of Innovation-Brownsville.

Harmony School of Innovation-Brownsville is public charter school serving students in grades 6-12.
