Harlem Globetrotters Name Monica Neal Executive VP Of Brand Marketing And Partnerships
Longtime Turner Broadcasting Exec Joins Globetrotters Leadership Team
ATLANTA, Oct. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Harlem Globetrotters CEO Kurt Schneider announced today that the organization has hired Monica Neal as its executive vice president of brand marketing and partnerships.
Neal joins the Globetrotters from TV One, where she served as the senior vice president of public relations for the past two years. Before joining TV One, she worked for several years with Turner Broadcasting, most recently as the vice president of emerging markets and dayparts for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).
With the Globetrotters, Neal will have direct responsibility and oversight for all brand marketing efforts, digital/social media programs, public relations initiatives and sponsorship sales management. She will report directly to Schneider.

Neal originally joined Turner Broadcasting in 2000 as director of public relations for Turner South and was promoted to vice president in 2002. In 2004, she added PR oversight for Turner Classic Movies to her responsibilities, later moving into new products, operations and station management before leaving to join TV One in 2013.
A native of Columbia, S.C., Neal is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
