Harlem Globetrotters Embark On Massive European Tour
Team will perform 77 shows in 73 cities across 13 countries, including their first-ever performance at O2 Arena in London
ATLANTA, March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrating 90 years of providing smiles, sportsmanship and service to millions of people worldwide, the world famous Harlem Globetrotters, featuring some of the greatest athletes and entertainers on the planet, will take their unparalleled family show overseas to bring smiles to fans in several European cities during their 2016 World Tour.
The team will perform 77 shows, spanning 73 cities in 13 countries. The tour will tip-off in Germany tonight and see the team also visit Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy and the United Kingdom, where the Globetrotters will play for the first time ever at London's O2 Arena on April 24, as well as return to Wembley Arena on May 7.
The Globetrotters will also play for the first time in three years in Spain and Turkey and return to Austria, Slovakia and Hungary for the first time in five years. The tour concludes on June 5, with the team's first performance in the Czech Republic since 2008.
