Booker D. Surfdog & Team Surfdog wrap up summer surfing with special needs kids and Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation
BRUNSWICK, Ga., Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Despite several brutal hurricane seasons in a row, Booker D. Surfdog has still managed to keep the wave of love afloat with Team Surfdogs unique water therapy for autistic and other special needs children. Concentrating off the dune replenished beaches, of the Jersey Shore Points, Booker D. seems to have found her stride again, after a near bite with cancer.
Tonya Smith, a Heart of Surfing Board of Director thinks, "Booker D. has really got it cooking. Firing on all cylinders, she brings incredible warmth and energy for the kids, and who doesn't like BBQ?" She asks, in reference to Booker D. Surfdogs Endless BBQ Tour.
Slicing the shore breaks while moving the speed of molasses, makes quite the spectacle, discovered Bart Lentini and The Two River Times from Red Bank, New Jersey, as Booker D. and her aide de camp Onyx Shorepound took some parallel waves to surf with Clean Ocean Action, in Sea Bright, to fight marine waters degradation, and the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation in Margate.
A popular new helping on the Endless BBQ Tour, that Bookers trained human is distinctively proud of, was the Booker D. Surfdog Historical Experience. Beginning in Morristown, Booker D. shared a historical experience with her friends from the Heart of Surfing at George Washington's winter camp in 1778-9, in Jockey Hollow.
Booker D. Surfdog will be at the Jamaican themed Island Jerk Shack in Brunswick, Georgia, Thursday, October 18, from 6 to 9 pm, with the Red Shed Band.
