KANSAS CITY, Kan., Feb. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Harcros Chemicals Inc. has earned SaferChoice approval of various H-Quest chelating agents and T-Det® surfactants. SaferChoice is a voluntary program developed by the EPA that works with raw material and finished goods manufacturers to develop safer, high-performance chemical products.
H-Quest chelating agents are high-performance, eco-friendly chelants which have many popular applications. Those include use in agricultural micronutrients, concrete additives, heavy duty alkaline metal cleaners and CIP systems. H-Quest L-50, H-Quest L-50 LA (Liquid Grades), H-Quest C-100 (Crystalline grade), and Calcium glucoheptonate 38% all meet the strict environmental standards required to achieve a 'full green circle,' which can be viewed on www.cleangredients.com.
Harcros also received approval for three of their high-performance broad-range surfactants, T-Det® A 267, T-Det® A 269 and T-Det® A 2623. Additional approval was awarded to both T-Det® A 267 NR and T-Det® A 26-4.5 NR, two narrow-range ethoxylates, which are based on a patented catalyst and process. These high-efficiency products reduce the amount of product required, while giving various benefits such as lower odor and irritation.
