Harbor and The Central Community Health Board of Hamilton County form joinder agreement
TOLEDO, Ohio, Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Harbor, Inc. of Toledo has formed a joinder agreement with The Central Community Health Board of Hamilton County (CCHB). The agreement was effective January 1, 2019. The joinder allows both agencies the opportunity to expand their programs and work together to grow and enhance the complimentary services each has to offer.
Harbor is a leading mental health provider in Ohio, serving over 24,000 individuals annually. The $47 million non-profit agency employs over 600 employees in 24 locations across Lucas, Wood and Defiance counties. Harbor has served the Toledo area for over 100 years and offers youth and adult counseling, psychiatry and psychological services, substance use disorder assessment and treatment, telehealth services and developmental pediatrics as well as vocational rehabilitation services, an Employee Assistance Program and multiple grant-funded programs.
The Central Community Health Board of Hamilton County is a regional diversity leader in behavioral health and chemical dependency treatment in the greater Cincinnati area. The $10 million non-profit, community-based organization employs 124 employees in Hamilton County. CCHB offers adult outpatient services, community psychiatric supportive treatment, crisis stabilization, day treatment, opioid treatment, HIV early prevention and intervention, and residential program services.
