NEW YORK, May 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanwha Techwin America (formerly Samsung Techwin America), a leader in consumer video monitoring and home surveillance products, today announced that the Samsung Wisenet-SmartCam A1 is available to consumers both online and in stores including Sam's Club, Target and Amazon.com.
Announced at CES, the Wisenet-SmartCam A1 Home Security System is a Wi-Fi security camera kit that offers both indoor and outdoor solutions and provides users with a more complete view of their home. The system consists of an indoor camera with 1080p Full HD streaming, 130-degree wide angle lens, Two-Way Talk and Motion Zone Select, and an outdoor battery-powered camera that delivers videos at 720p HD resolution with weather resistant capabilities. Users can also pair up to seven outdoor battery-powered cameras with the A1 station hub.
The Wisenet-SmartCam A1 indoor and outdoor cameras connect to the station hub for Wi-Fi, to provide local storage and can send event notifications to the user's device via the app when it detects activity in their home. In addition, the detachable base of the indoor camera allows versatility in camera placement attributed to its magnetic and tripod mounting capabilities and up to 3-hour battery life. The indoor camera can be placed back onto the station hub to recharge, or enable other features, such as 350-degree panning or Auto-Tracking, for optimal monitoring in your home.
The station cameras and the outdoor cameras are available in select retailers, sold as kits and individually packaged cameras.
