HandScape will demonstrate at CES 2015 in Las Vegas a "smart case" which will attach to an iPad Air and adds multi-touch technology to the backside of the iPad, enabling the user to interact with the iPad using all fingers from both hands. When a user interacts with the smart case, the user's hands are displayed as animated fingers and hands, giving the user the perception of looking "through" the device.

The HandScape smart case will attach to an iPad and includes multi-touch touchpad technology on the backside of the tablet, enabling the user to interact with the iPad using all fingers from both hands. When a user interacts with the smart case, HandScape's patented technology and proprietary software displays the user's hands on screen as animated fingers and hands, giving the user the perception of looking "through" the device. App developers will use the HandScape software to provide an intuitive means to see, tap and swipe on-screen objects without obscuring the screen with their hands. Several example apps will be demonstrated.

The smart case is designed to be attractive, ergonomic, rugged and allow 1-handed and 2-handed interaction with games, maps and virtually any application that utilizes the HandScape API. The smart case is rechargeable and is wireless, utilizing Bluetooth 4.0 Smart (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology to communicate to the mobile device. An Android version of the smart case is currently under development.

The smart case will be the first example of using HandScape's patented technology for interacting with a wide variety of mobile devices including tablets, smartphones, heads up displays and video consoles.

Company founders will be showing a working prototype every day of CES at the Sands Expo in the Eureka Park section, Booth 75335.
